Next comes the best part of the book, anatomy of the crime. I found this section particularly fascinating. Want to find out something specific about weapons? There's a section on firearms. Gangs, their language and how they operate? Look on page 57. If you're writing a modern-day urban mystery, you darn well better be familiar with gang slang and know what kinds of guns cops carry, because you're readers will know if you don't.

Once you've committed the crime, on paper, you'll want to move on to the section pertaining to criminal investigation. This section has links to all kinds of fun information: law enforcement, private investigators, the psychology the criminal mind, enough to keep you reading for weeks.
